Are you dating an evil person in disguise?

Dear Handwriting Doctor,
Several years ago I met “D.” We were crazy
about each other. We saw each other every day. A girlfriend
warned me “I hate to burst your bubble, but his family
might not accept you. He’s Chinese, the only son, and
a doctor…you’re Caucasian and older than he is.
” When I told him what my friend said, he replied,
“Don’t worry. How could anyone not love you?”
Anyways, his parents came to town. We met for twenty minutes
at a coffee shop. His mother refused to talk, folded her arms,
and turned her back to me.
After they left, I asked him “what did you say to make
them hate me so much?” He said, “All I told
them was, I can’t wait until you meet my girlfriend…
She’s magical.”
Despite his parents, sister, grandmother, aunts and uncles calling
him to tell him what an evil temptress I was, we continued to see
each other for two years. Then six months ago, we were having
a pleasant conversation on the phone when he said, “By
the way, our relationship has no future, so I don’t want
to see or talk to you again.” I haven’t seen or
spoken to him since.
Do you see anything in his handwriting that would explain
his actions?

Just as vertical writers control their handwriting, they control their emotions.
Dear Shanghaied,
“What is as important as knowledge?” asked
the mind.
“Caring and seeing with the heart,” answered the soul.
Though your friend signs his letter with words that appear to
be from his heart, his handwriting tells a different story. Look at
the way he wrote, “Hugs & Kisses & Love Always.”
Most of his writing is vertical, neither slanting to the right nor
to the left. It takes tremendous physical and mental control to
write with a vertical slant. Just as vertical writers control their
handwriting, they control their emotions. Their heads rule their
hearts.
Also, do you see how the word “Love” is smaller
than the rest of the writing? This means that, subconsciously, he is
trying to diminish the feelings he associates with the word “love.”
His heart may have truly felt that you were magical, but his
handwriting shows that in the battle of the body parts, his head
will always win.
