FEATURE STORY:
ROSETTA DID IT - AND YOU CAN, TOO!

Making our way in the world - one handwriting analyst
finds her niche - and puts her skills to work!

=======================================

Have you been wondering how to put handwriting
analysis to work as more than just a hobby or
passing interest? Well, here is what one student
did, using her brains, her skills and an unexpected
opportunity. Meet Handwriting University
graduate and Certified Handwriting Analyst,
Rosetta Cozart. Here's her story.

Written By Rosetta Cozart
Edited by Cindy Little

To begin, I owe Bart Baggett a great deal of gratitude,
along with Karen Weinberg and Jerry Fishow at CHAI
(Coalition of Handwriting Analysts International). If I
hadn't taken Bart's course, I never would have met
Karen…and if I hadn't met Karen, I would never have
heard of CHAI nor would I have met Jerry, President
of CHAI.

All of these events were stepping stones in the path of
life I am currently traveling - so much different than I
had envisioned my life just a few years ago!

While I was taking Bart's course, I was grappling with
shyness and self-consciousness - I was shy and
withdrawn, and would rather bite my own hand
than shake someone else's. By means of graphotherapy,
Karen helped unlock the cage I was in.

I was a backwards writer. It is well-understood by
most graphologists that when someone makes a
mark to the left that is normally to the right, it has
a lot to do with the past, or self.

An example would be a t-bar made from the right
to the left. The individual is self-driving, for one
definition. If that t-bar ends in a sarcastic sword,
this person is self-critical, self-sabotaging; especially
if there are the turned-down endings of y's and g's
pertaining to fear of success in the writing as well.

So, when a person writes backwards with their
dominant hand, they become stuck in the past
and become an emotional prisoner unable to
relate to others. It's really a very sad situation.

But I had been doing this type of writing
somewhere since my early teens. Coming from
a large family of eight-plus souls, privacy is
more valued than a new pair of shoes. I did
not mix well with my schoolmates nor my
siblings. I grew up with a lot of anger and
hostility.

I attempted to create my own world in which I
was loved, protected and accepted. Yeah, basically,
I was a mess. Suffered chronic depression that often
went untreated until later, after I left home. Now I
don't take any medication for depression. It is ironic
that in spite of my isolationistic lifestyle, I was an
A/B student. I looked forward to going to school
and I was an avid reader of books.

This was me, until I met Bart, Karen and Jerry - a
very lonely and isolated person.

Over the past two years, Karen and Jerry have continued
to nurture me and draw me out. Today, I am the co-editor
and librarian of CHAI. For me, these two positions have
enabled me to blossom. Thanks to graphotherapy and my
work, now I can talk to almost anyone, and find it easy to
strike up a new acquaintance in any circumstance.

A couple of months ago, I met a man in Abilene while I
was having my car serviced. He had stopped to offer
assistance. This led to a conversation whereby he
introduced himself and told me what he did professionally.
He's a Criminal Justice Instructor at our local Junior
College in Cisco, where I live.

I immediately dropped what I was doing and began asking
questions about how one went about teaching at a college.
I told him I was a Certified Handwriting Analyst, which
caught his interest for obvious reasons; his interests and
mine are compatible, considering our respective fields of
endeavor.

My new friend was very accommodating and gave me the
contact information I needed in order to pursue this notion
I had. So I called. I spoke with the Dean of our local
college, who, in turn, directed me to the person in charge
of the Workforce Development / Continuing Education
Department at the Abilene branch.

She and I met and talked for two hours about the various
ways that handwriting analysis can be used in the day to
day life of anyone; from human relationships to vocational
placement. She was very enthusiastic.

I will now be teaching an introductory course on the basics
of handwriting analysis at the Abilene campus of Cisco
Junior College. I'll be meeting with the Workforce
Development Manager in a couple of weeks, to discuss
curriculum. Bart's Handwriting 101 instructional booklet
provides excellent material for adult education classes,
as well as a structured outline for teaching.

One more note that might be of interest: the Director of
the Workforce Development Dept. had already been
doing some research in the data base for all two-year
colleges in the State of Texas. She shared with me that
over the years she has had many inquiries of students
wanting to know if there was a handwriting analysis
course available. So you can imagine her excitement
when I followed up and called.

So far, I have researched half of the two-year colleges,
and have not found one that offers anything remotely
close to handwriting analysis. There are 49 two-year
colleges listed for the State of Texas. So, if Cisco
Junior College is the only one offering this course,
that makes us a bit of a pioneer!

What makes this even more interesting, is that I
will not have to spend another advertising dollar
out of my own pocket. The college will be
handling the advertising details. I can only
imagine what will happen once this takes off.

I have signed up as an affiliate of Handwriting
University.com; so, when some of my students
develop an interest in handwriting analysis that
goes beyond the basics, they can purchase Bart's
products through my affiliation, creating a 25%
commission for me on each sale.

Not only do I reap the benefits of helping my
students, but they can go right on with their
learning and help others as well. The whole
system just keeps on giving!

At any rate, I wanted to share my story with you,
because it all started with me taking Bart's course.
One never knows how one ripple in the pond
affects the ripple next to it, do we?

According to my contact at the college, she foresees
a wonderful future for she and I. She is even
encouraging me to pick up where I left off with my
formal education, get my Master's Degree and
become a full-time member of the faculty. Now
there's a goal to strive for as well. Why not?

Thanks for allowing me to share,

Rosetta Cozart

FEEDBACK
=======================================

"I found the handwriting to be right on target with the
'Hell traits.'

Unfortunately, I have been in a roller coaster relationship
and need to get off of the ride. The analysis confirmed my
suspicion. I should have had this information before he
ripped my heart out.

When I date again, I'm checking the handwriting
first."

"Within months of getting Bart's handwriting course, I
got my dream job with Federal Express! My handwriting
analysis gave me the personal insight and confidence to
take bigger risks and go for it!"

"I am m@king $100 an h.o.u.r reading handwriting at parties,
impressing (people) with my highly accurate assessment of
them without ever having met them before!

And all my knowledge comes from Bart's books, courses,
and tapes. There is a great deal of depth to handwriting
analysis, more than just entertainment. For those who want
to really develop their knowledge of this skill, Bart Baggett's
courses, without a doubt, lead the way."

"It was awesome to finally meet Curt Baggett
in person (it was almost overwhelming
attempting to absorb all of the wisdom and
great advice he was putting out).

The seminar was a blast and I learned more
about handwriting analysis than I could
through books, CD's and video tapes. I
was also able to meet and interact with
some of the most wonderful assortment of
individuals I've ever encountered.

Everyone should attend. It can change your life."
