Now before I do any celebrity’s handwriting, I have to make a notation to my readers that I do not use the public persona of the individual to validate or justify the things that I see.\u00a0 I also don’t use the public persona and then try and find things that match what we think is the public persona.\u00a0 That is one thing that absolutely annoys me about most handwriting analysis books on the market.<\/p>\n

\nSo I’ll proceed with the analysis of Elizabeth Taylor’s handwriting and I will attempt to be as unbiased as I can.\u00a0 If you are a fan of Elizabeth Taylor, then you might find this both wonderful and perhaps some of it not so wonderful.\u00a0 Personally, I’m not a fan of Elizabeth Taylor because most of her biggest movies were before my time.\u00a0 However being a member of the American society, you can’t go through a grocery store without seeing her face on the cover of a magazine for the many marriages and the diseases that ultimately took her life in old age so I’m not without knowledge of her beauty at a young age and her struggles at an older age.<\/p>\n

Let’s get to the handwriting.\u00a0 The first thing that you’ll notice which is a little bit unusual is her slant is extremely to the right side of the page.\u00a0 For those of you in our home study course; when I measured this using our emotional gauge, the results were about 50\u00a0percent DE slants and about 50\u00a0percent were E plus slants.\u00a0 In fact if you use the emotional gauge, you’ll find that it’s almost exactly on the line in between DE and E plus.\u00a0 In the past 15\u00a0years, I think it’s rare to find an E plus writer in today’s society and when you do, you find an extraordinarily expressive and interesting individual.<\/p>\n

If you’ll refer to the graphics on this page, I’ve outlined some notes to outline the specific individual primary traits in highlighted format.\u00a0 After we’ve gone through some of the highlighted traits, I’ll attempt to combine them in an evaluated trait form to get a more comprehensive understanding of the personality.<\/p>\n

\nThe first thing you’ll notice is the long, vertical extenders that go up in the air much like a child raising his hand in the air.\u00a0 That is textbook definition of desire for attention.\u00a0 Now not everyone that has desire for attention becomes an actress or a celebrity but in this case I think it matched her personality very well.<\/p>\n

If you move to the center of the page, you see the word ‘very’ and there is actually a very rigid upstroke with no angles in it. Although this is not common in her handwriting, I do see it once and that is the trait of resentment in the mundane area which means angry about something that’s happening now.\u00a0 So we have to do some research to find out when this was written but there is some unresolved anger there.\u00a0 The rest of the entry strokes have a hook which do not mean resentment because they’re curved and all those little hooks are desire to acquire.<\/p>\n

If you look to the lower left-hand corner of the page, I’ve said beginning hooks equals acquisitiveness which essentially is needing, desiring material items.\u00a0 Most people that have this will object to the word materialistic however from an outside observer, one would say that collecting things makes them feel secure.\u00a0 So depending on your value in society, you might find that an offensive statement that someone has a desire to acquire or you might see it as a need for stability and substance.<\/p>\n

If we move on to the letter ‘o’, we see that she does not have consistent o’s and this is good information to have.\u00a0 If half of the o’s are clear and unfettered, half of the time she is blunt and honest.\u00a0 If half of the time she has an outward loop to the right, that means half of the time she is secretive.\u00a0 So with contextual with who she gets around of how honest she is to them.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite traits of Elizabeth Taylor’s handwriting is the persistent letter’ T’.\u00a0 If you look at the word “dearest” and you look at the very last word, you’ll see this ‘t’ that looks like a sheriff’s badge.\u00a0 It looks like the star.\u00a0 That is persistence.\u00a0 It is dominant.\u00a0 That is the downward slant and it is powerful which means there is no sarcasm.\u00a0 She gets what she wants.<\/p>\n

If you look at some of the t-bars there are points.\u00a0 Some of them don’t have points.\u00a0 Both of them are dominant and some are domineering but I will say I can imagine she would be “hell on wheels” if she did not get her way because anyone with this much persistence, this much determination, and this much passion is going to get what they want.\u00a0 So I would have to think that her spouses throughout the years have seen the ugly side of Elizabeth Taylor as she is both a perfectionist and incredibly determined.<\/p>\n

The longest enders would indicate big physical drives.\u00a0 I’m not sure when this handwriting sample was written but it’s amazing to have that good of a physical drive even at the age of 70 or 80\u00a0years old.\u00a0 So it’s not just sex drive but it’s also energy.\u00a0 So she was very active and obviously needed someone to keep up with her both in the sexual arena but also just in a daily activity.\u00a0 It wouldn’t surprise me if she got up at 5:00 AM and went to bed at midnight.<\/p>\n

On the lower right-hand side you see the word “school.”\u00a0 I only see this once or twice but there is a small stinger and that of course is an issue with strong men, probably an attraction to strong, handsome men, not that we’re not attracted to handsome and beautiful people but in this case there is a slight resentment and maybe some daddy issues that go along with that because of the stinger.\u00a0 If you want to really know daddy issues, you have to kind of look at the capital ‘I’ and in her case the capital ‘I’ doesn’t really give us a slam dunk clue whether there are severe daddy issues or not.\u00a0 We do see a boat.\u00a0 We see some angles but it’s not enough for me to really speculate accurately.<\/p>\n

Finally one would note that she does have quite a bit of angles in her writings.\u00a0 The majority of the shape of her m’s and n’s are what they call arcade.\u00a0 That’s a style that you’ll see in Gestalt graphology and arcade in between is the opposite of analytical but the top of the m’s are very, very pointed. When you see the top of m’s pointed, you see a high level of intellect and the ability to sort and digest information. If you see arcades at the bottom, you see a high degree of femininity.\u00a0 That’s one of the overall Gestalt traits of arcade writing, especially arcade writing that has this level of slant and this level of baseline; a feminine, arcade writing.<\/p>\n
