The handwriting interviews have been getting great reviews. We knew they were a hit in the live seminars, but now we are releasing these videos to Handwriting University members each month. You will learn more if you approach these videos in two steps.
1. Download and analyze the handwriting on your own, before you watch the video or learn anything about the person. This is the true test of how accurate you are using your handwriting analysis skill.
Answer these questions in writing and POST THEM here, on this page.
- What is her emotional temperament?
- Is she a risk taker?
- Are her romantic needs above average or transmuted into exercise?
- Would she be a good accountant?
- Would she be a talented actress?
- Is she moral or amoral?
- Describe her intelligence?
- How much does she make per year in salary?

2. Wait one day until we release the 2 part video interview with the person who wrote the handwriting sample from the day before. Voila! The person’s character comes to life in breathing flesh and blood.
So, the full video on today’s volunteer will be released to our members tomorrow. Check back here, in the weekly newsletter section, for the full 2 part video series. But, before you do, analyze her using your handwriting analysis skills. I suggest printing her handwriting out and use a blue or red pen to draw arrows and trait names.
Check back here, on this newsletter page, for the video when released.
Remember that we have enrollment specials on both the Certification Course,
in December and for the Forensic Document Exam school. Both good careers if you are ready to get started.

Reading across the first line I see:
The E in Everybody shows a desire for culture.
The K in liKe shows a ‘go to hell K’ and a resentment of authority.
The giant loops in the Y show a large social life / sexual imagination / and presents Theresa as gullible. The large loops means Theresa has a large group of friends. The depth of the Y show a strong physical need and the way the Y runs into the line below says she probably has too many projects going on. The ending part of the Y does not always come back to the baseline which shows she has a fear of failure / success and means she has a tendency to not get projects completed.
Noticing the humps in the M’s she looks to be a methodical learner, she has to spend time and learn something thoroughly but once she’s got it she has it for life.
If we look at how she starts words the first letter rarely has an initial lead in stroke – like the T in both “to”s on the first line. This shows she is direct and to the point. With Theresa, don’t beat around the bush get to the point.
Next thing I notice is the ‘hooks’ around some of the D, and A’s. Like on the 2nd line the D in “coined” and the 4th line the A in “I said” and on the same line the A in “eater”. These hooks show an attraction to strong members of the opposite sex and likes a challenge in them. However, when she ‘tames’ them she’s bored and moves on.
I also notice she has a few characters that drop below the baseline – showing a strong determination – like the M in “monkey” on the 3rd line and the N in “Now” in the line above Sincerely
Now I’ve noticed the T’s are mainly crossed lower than the top of the T. This shows a low self esteem. And the T’s can show so much but the other thing I notice about the T’s are they are often crossed mainly on the right side – showing a bit of anger.
Scanning over the document I notice some P’s
The gap in the P’s between the start of the downward stroke and the loop of the P shows Theresa can be argumentative.
Another item is Theresa’s handwriting seems to lean to the left showing she can be introverted and withdrawn. Taking care of herself first and can be resentful if others try to ask more from them.
Oh, the first and last name of her signature. The first name generally reflects how she wants the world to perceive her and the last name generally reflects how she wants the world to perceive her family. Good strong capital T in Theresa means she wants the world to see her as proud and confident in herself, the last name – I see the big loop in the G and then in comes up and points backwards – a sign of self castigation of her family. The open G also says she likes to talk about her family. One other thing that jumps out to me about her signature is how straight it is. You could draw a line under it – meaning that Theresa likes to present herself and family as being perfect.
Now if this was written on a blank page it might be easier to tell some more things but based upon the white space on the left side and the fact that the top and bottom white space is in balance I’d say she likes balance in her life but with the page on it’s side and the logo it’s really hard to say for sure.
However, reviewing the entire document I see most of the lines slant upward to the right a bit showing a general optimism.
Does this resound with you Theresa?

Theresa Gerling
1. Emotionally withdrawn and shy with people (back slant, low t bars,
very weak PPI)
2. Not inclined to take risks (back slant, cautious, no agressiveness nor
initiative. She’s make a good partner, however, for another person
with leadership skills.
3. Romance ? maybe with the right guy who would comfort her fears,
but basically she’s simple, down to earth, un sophistocated,
not romantically inclined.
4. Accountant——–yes, potentially (pays close attention to details,
good listener, quiet, loyal, methodical——however
her strong passion toward sex, travel, and material things
would destract her from extensive and deep accounting tasks
5. Actress ? not likely, she would need lots of help if she tried it due
to low self esteem, , weak ego (PPI) , withdrawn emotions.
Altho her signature shows strong desire to be seen and recognized,
her weak traits would cause her to shy away from the center stage of
theatre.
6. Moral ? it depends on whose concept of morality. For her, she
has a strong habit of defying authority, and her strong sexuality
and material interests could be the basis of her own unique
sense of morality. Since today’s morality is wide open , untraditional
and at times scandelous to others, she could feel very comfortable
in a sexual career that others might find objectionable.
ON the other hand, she has a down to earth morality
(open a and o, clarity of letters, attention to details, good punctuation)
7. INtelligence—–not sharp nor keen minded in her day to day activities,
nor highly developed intelligence. However, she may manifest
smarts in practical things since she is comfortable with materialism
and has good manual skills, a good eye for detail, and a natural endowment for creativity.
8. Her salary? The skills mentioned in #7 could very well make her
rich (million$$$ ). Who knows but the circumstances in her life directed her toward money……..e.g. the the owner of several
travel agencies, or the owner of a bar/restaurant/men’s club
Overall, she’s not a leader nor instigator, but a follower, and for this
reason would make a good partner for the right person.

Excellent organizational skills (LM, spacing words/lines ) and clarity of thought (knows what she wants). The slower writing suggest planner (thinks before she speaks) and lack of spontaneity / emotional enthusiasm. The conformity in layout, spacing and lettering shows she is conservative and a rule follower. A negative comment during T jaywalking, would stop her in her tracks.
The PPI backward slant and backward/vertical slant of writing in general suggests T is reserved. Combine with the smaller PPI / caps, the lower t bar crosses on stem, and this suggest self esteem is below average.
Word spacing is mildly enlarged. Combine with the above, this suggests she might be on the shy side.
The lack of initiation strokes and lack of embellishments, the directness of the lettering in clarity suggest a strong pragmatic sense. (I dress to be covered, to stay warm. I drive a car to get from A to B. Not necessarily to impress.)
The lettering is “arcade” which suggests T protects herself (backward slant PPI…). The hook on the “father loop” suggest “unfinished emotional business” with the father figure in her life. IF Gerlin is maiden name, the “felon’s claw” suggest feelings of emotional guilt in family.
The PPI (hook and backslant), the felon’s claw (family name), the arcade (self protection), the slow writing (planning / doubt) suggest her upbringing has caused her to be inhibited in general. As her inhibitions (upbringing) clash with her desires (strong drive), she will likely rebel (monster defiance K).
The connection strokes are simplistic with good intuitive breaks. Combine that with lack of de-emphasized UZ and lack of UZ loops, and we see someone not interested to intellectually / spiritually enhance herself. Intelligence is average with a slow learning curve caused by attention to detail and frequent rethinking (doubt). Once she mastered a subject to her satisfaction, you can ask her years later!
She has many qualities to be a good accountant (attention to detail / rule follower) yet, with the lack of interest in intellectual training, she most likely will not have interest to be one. The t-crossbars suggest a procrastinator.
The slower writing also suggest a desire “not to loose control”. A strong drive and not loose control suggest that sports she likes are games like pool, golf, body building and the like. Team sports require quick adaptation to many variables and the ability to adapt to (lack of control) secondary to outside interference. That is just not her gig.
Will she tell the truth? When she lies, it will be by omission. She is a planner and likes to talk (open o). Easier not to say anything than to have a slip of the tongue.
Is she moral? With the clarity of the writing, combined the little variation of name and signature, it suggests she is the “what you see is what you get” type of woman. Hence, when talking, it will be truthful. (again, her biggest “lies” are in omission) Moral: yes.
She has a strong drive (LZ loops). Strong need for material things, mental gratification or sexual drive. Since she is pragmatic, material things are not likely on the forefront. She has a strong drive and has intent focus to the point she will ignore immediate environment (lower loop mingles with next line). When she hurts somebody, it is because she was focused, had blinders one and is not aware she is hurting somebody. The lack of enthusiasm, procrastination and intent focus suggest someone “who can get lost into the details of planning”. Too many things to think about, and nothing gets ever done …
She feels small, and unnoticed (the flailing y loops Gerling and silly). Flailing like that is like waving your arm/hand “Can you see me now?”.
Actress? If at all, it will be in a small, local venue. Her drive would be to be noticed. Note the detail of the word “famous”. See how the e extension is horizontal (versus none and curved up). ? Right there she was distracted, thinking more intent (tension created the horizontal unlike to loose curved up strokes) about the word “famous”. This can suggest “she would like to be famous”. Yet, her below average self esteem likely prevents her from getting on a bigger stage.
Overall, average intelligence. Moral. Inhibited. Planner. Pragmatic. Feels unnoticed. Below average self esteem combined with defiance. Procrastinator. Strong drive. Prefers individual tasks (sports / work) over teams.
Can’t wait to see the video!

Theresa has apredominantly left hand slant meaning that she is reverting to her past and therefore is not very open or emotional at least to other people.
She probably would make a decent accountant because she dots her i stems mostly right above and close to the stem which shows she has good concentration skills and the second part of this is truthfulness; can see only one oval that seems lightly stabbed.
At first I was going to say that Theresa would not make a good actress because of her lack of emotionality towards others, essentially other actresses with with she would have to work with. However, many actresses such as Meryl Streep have said that they have to become the person they are portraying and in the process the actress loses her own identity. perhaps I’m not making much sense here but am having a hard time saying what I mean.
As for sexuallity issues, she has rather large somewhat full lower y loops which almost rise to the baseline. she also has intertwined loops going into the line below. She seems to “hold” sexual experiences, has room for healthy exercise (sex perhaps)? lol and is interested in filling those lower loops with the good life. Although because the loops often extend into the lower line, she has too many irons in the fire so she might possibly be into one night stands instead of a monogamas relationship And with Theresa’s leftward slant, she most likely doesn’t open up to relationships due to emotional coldness…….not good for long term ones.
Going back to her work ethic, she most likely could work for herself as an accountant and if she did work in an office with others she probably would not interact very well.
Hope I hit the mark at least some although I would like to have gotten a B+

Thanks for all the great comments. I’m very proud of the interaction and smart logical responses. Please watch the video (next page) and leave a comment on how correct or how surprised you were at the outcome. Don’t be bummed if you miss one or two points, stacking traits takes years to master and we all learn new things with every person we encounter.

I dido the above.

ditto. Yet, just looking at the picture of TG: conservatively dressed. and on part I pic, note how she has a shy look (eyes, head withdrawn) and she appears to be fidgeting with her left hand on top of right hand (shyness).
Would love to see the rest. Bart had more of those videos and they are a great learning tool. I did the Forensic Doc classes and enjoyed that very much so. Check it out!
