Oral tact is a huge asset to the analyst because first of all, being humans that we are, we often want to take umbrage at someone for something they say to us or about us IF we don’t use tact. Therefore an anaylst should be “on her toes” so to speak, to speak the truth always but always with tact/diplomacy and that can be done by using metaphors as Bart mentioned in the video. Nobody likes to be told point blank that they are, this, this and that without a lil bit of humor or kindess thrown in witht he truth.
