When the Sexiest Woman Alive, Scarlett Johansson, wrote a small handwriting sample for Esquire journalist Tom Chiarella during an interview, her intentions were clear: Scarlett wanted to get her handwriting anlayzed.
When she met the journalist a couple of weeks later, Scarlett even asked him: ‘Hey, what about the handwriting sample?’ She was disappointed when the journalist gave her the bad news that he could not get a handwriting analyst to work on a small sample.
To tell you the truth, the handwriting sample (below) given by Scarlett Johansson is indeed insufficient. It would have been great if I had some additional words from the beauty. But beggars can’t be choosers. So, being a fan, I thought that as a handwriting analyst I should write whatever I could figure out from the small sample despite knowing well that it won’t tell me a great deal about the writer. I loathe to disappoint The Avengers star, you see.
Slant shift in handwriting
The first thing that I notice about Scarlett Johansson’s handwriting is the difference between the slants of her handwriting and signature. The handwriting noticeably tilts towards the left while the signature has a right slant. This shows that Scarlett Johansson has two personalities: one for the people close to her, and the second for the public.
In private, the actor holds back her emotions and reacts too little or too late unless provoked or pushed to the corner. The actor has the tendency to remain emotionally distant in her private life. The left slant indicates that Scarlett’s parents (or parent) were strict with her, or as a child, the Match Point actress faced some traumatic experiences. (Read more on left-slanted handwriting)
On the other hand, the right slant in the signature suggests that Scarlett projects herself as an outgoing person. People who are not part of her inner circle will get the impression that the actress is extrovert and outspoken. But this is just a show for those she does not deal with at a personal level. She actually likes to stay emotionally distant. Maybe deep down, the actress has some unexplained fears.
Owner of an investigative mind
In her handwriting, some of her middle zone letters have pointed tops (h in the & n in hand). This shows that Scarlett has the ability to size up a situation quickly and act fast. She is an inquisitive person who is keen to know the why behind something. Also, the hottie (I have been dying to call her that, you know) is capable of taking quick decisions.
Difference of opinion with roots
Notice that in both the signature samples, the second name comes in the second line. There is no harm if someone writes like that. It just indicates that the writer puts himself before his family.
Graphologists say when a person creates two layers in his signature to place his family name below the first name, it could be a reflection of the writer’s defiance of the rules, guidelines and boundaries set by his family.
I am not aware of Scarlett Johansson’s background, but her signature does give me hints to assume that she was also made to follow certain rules, which she does not approve of as an adult. (We also found this particular feature in the signature of porn star Sunny Leone)
A few more things…
The handwriting, especially the even placement of t-bars, indicates that the Scarlett is an efficient person, and she learns well from her past mistakes and seldom repeats them. (Also read: Handwriting analysis of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart)
The healthy height of her upper zone letters, such as t & l, shows that the writer takes a lot of pride in what she does. She unambiguously differentiates between what is right and what it wrong and often chooses to take fair stands.
Also, pay attention to the figure-8 like formation at the beginning of the first signature sample given above. If this is a regular feature in her handwriting, it shows that she is a voluble person who has a way with words and an ability to impress others with them.
